Thank you for your interest in attending the Preceptorial, Artificial General Intelligence and "the singularity" hosted by the Center for Neuroscience & Society and led by Lyle Ungar, a machine learning researcher and professor of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. The Preceptorial is on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5:00-6:30pm at Goddard Labs 200, 3710 Hamilton Walk.
Computers will soon have more raw compute power and memory than humans. Will they ever match or surpass humans in intelligence (“the singularity)? We will talk about what "artificial general intelligence" is, how the singularity may affect society.
If you sign up and are selected, you are expected to take part in the full 60-minute session. Be sure that you are available before signing up.
Deadline to sign up is Friday, February 14 at 11:59pm ET.
